Good question. I would encourage taxpayers in the district to pose that question to school officials. I haven’t seen any reports to the taxpayers or to parents since the bond issue was approved but perhaps I have missed it.
I recognize that this was addressed to faculty and staff since the construction can pose to be nuisance, but there is no mention of the turf field. Have you heard anything about that and it's progress? Truly hope it'll be done for soccer season this fall. If not, then that is truly pathetic and we need to get a new contractor and someone else to negotiate contracts for us.
I cannot say for sure without more reporting but I believe the field was not mentioned because work there does not affect district employees. I posted this memo from the facilities director because it provided more detailed information than available anywhere else about the work being done and its schedule. The information made available to parents and taxpayers on the district Web site was not as detailed.
Given the time period that CET was constructed, asbestos abatement work could be anything from pipes to paint to possibly acoustic drop ceilings--or all of the above.
Is this project on budget?

CET has notices posted that February break will involve asbestos abatement work. Figure this is 'pipe insulation removal' ?
Sounds like it.
