Thank you Mr. Steinberg for your insightful perspective. Senate Bill S7111A concerns me if it's weaponized to keep the same people in power with no alternative or moderate view points.

As for my "sympathies", I think they've been aligned with democrat values for a long time, as evidenced by the proof shown in Mr. Balter's reporting AND this Examiner article published in 2024 https://www.theexaminernews.com/to-protect-moms-jones-understands-healthcare-must-be-a-right/

If law S7111A were to be weaponized on me, there could be only one obvious motive... to keep me from gaining local democrat supporters who may be seeking change to the current establishment through a community oriented leadership group eager to preserve the magic of Croton, pursue development that benefits village residents & follows the comprehensive plan, promotes inclusivity & greater transparency on village agenda topics and puts a moratorium on increasing service fees for village residents.

I don't see this being used against Stacey as that would cause a massive backlash, or at least I think it would, but who knows in this environment. The bill mentions the Working Families fiasco during the last election cycle and uses the term "voter" instead of candidate. Could this be a double whammy? Eliminate Trojan Horse candidates who Pugh and his backers deem "fake" Democrats and also provide NY Democrats a path to purge people (undercover Trumpers) who are determined to undermine primaries and such?
