Thanks to an apparent concerted attack from people trying to block circulation of the Chronicle, I am at least temporarily blocked from posting content on any Facebook group. I would ask Chronicle readers to post articles of their choice on their own favorite Facebook pages. The 1200 direct email subscribers to the Chronicle will of course continue to receive the publication. Thank you.
As I think many know, a handful of high profile individuals in the village have been attempting to discredit the Chronicle (calling it "misinformation" and telling outright lies) since it first began publishing. Those efforts have failed miserably, as the 1,200 subscriber numbers demonstrate (a fifth of all the adults in the village and steadily growing.) But they do sometimes interfere with villagers getting all the news they need to have, and for that reason they must be countered strenuously. A concerted effort to suppress Chronicle readership should be met with a concerted effort by those who believe in a free press.
I sincerely hope that this election sticks with the true facts the residents deserve and that the name calling that occurred during the School Board Election which disgraced this Village. A wise man once told me that if the only way you can win an argument is to call your opponent names then you really have no argument. So best of luck to all the candidates who are willing to give of their time to work for what is best for Croton. P.S. That wiseman was my Dad.
Yes. The evidence that campaign workers for Will and Theo engaged in a smear campaign has only grown since the election, even if those who testify about it feel they have to remain anonymous (which leads apologists for the smears to claim there is “no evidence.” Believe me there is.) I have seen no evidence that Will and Theo were directly involved but they also refused to condemn it. It went on up to and including the day of the election itself, with people going door to door and telling voters (including ones with their campaign signs on their lawns) that Allison and Leslie were secret Trump supporters. For shame.
Hundreds of Croton village residents signed the petition, many of them Democrats, and they could have quadrupled that signature count if they wanted or needed to. This is a grassroots campaign, the Voice of Croton - Gary, Stacey, and Nigel, are on the ballot in November. Please visit www.voiceofcroton.org, contribute to their campaign and ask your friends to do so as well! They need your support!
Congratulations to all three candidates who received hundreds of signatures from registered Croton voters, many of them registered Democrats. Finally, voters will have a choice this November!

Falsely reporting me to Facebook. Unfortunately, Facebook algorithms respond to multiple reports and rarely actually investigate their validity.
