Thank you for keeping us updated on this case. I am glad they are helping to take people like him off the streets.

Of course he is entitled to the presumption of innocence, but people in Croton also have the right to know the current status of his case at all times. The Chronicle will do its best to provide that information and update it when necessary.

Yes innocent until proven guilty. The evidence suggests that he is definitely guilty. Again thank you for reporting the facts of the case

Thank you for this update and all the factual reporting. This is a disturbing case but I am thankful the FBI got this criminal and I am thankful to know what, who and when this happened. It’s more stressful being in the dark about these types of things. I am very grateful to The Croton Chronicle for all its coverage.

Thank you, but please keep in mind that under our system of justice an accused person is considered innocent until they are proven guilty in a court of law. That presumption of innocence must be maintained no matter how bad the facts may look on the face of them, and the Chronicle will proceed under that assumption as well in its reporting. We will also do our best to protect the privacy of individuals who have not been charged with a crime.

Of course! I am thankful for how our justice system works and agree with your comment. I suppose I should have said “possible criminal” in my reply but when it comes to these charges, as mom, there is an emotional response that’s hard to avoid.

I fully understand the emotional response. And protecting children is a very high priority, of course.
