The Croton Chronicle is One Year Old Today! Here are all the ways you can celebrate this joyous anniversary with us.
We want to thank all the subscribers, supporters (moral and otherwise), sources, tipsters, researchers, attorneys, domain experts, and other Croton residents without whom we never could have done it.
Here are some ways to celebrate: Subscribe to the Chronicle if you have not already done so, take out a paying sub if you do not have one yet, or give a gift subscription to someone you think deserves to be well informed about what goes on in Croton. (And if you are stumped for holiday gifts, you can use that button again in just a matter of weeks.)
Of course, everyone will want to celebrate the arrival of truly independent journalism in Croton in their own way. We will be thinking about the more than 260 posts we have published since October 29, 2023. If you want to take that walk down memory lane with us, here are links to examples of posts from each month we have published, featuring stories we particularly liked or thought were particularly important to villagers—even if the news was not always pleasant or appreciated by everyone.
