Of course, in Croton every day is Hudson River Day. But this year's event was a major success and very well attended. Oh, and the clam chowder was excellent.

I remember in grade school being so excited for the river field trips to see your husband seine with the net and catch all kinds of fish and then learn about them. Great person and an institution of the town and Hudson River!
