About a year ago at a regular BOE meeting the subject of posting controversial/inflammatory statements by Croton BOE members on personal media sites was discussed as a reflection on the BOE and members by the public. The matter was tabled for review and considered for BOE Policy revision. What ever happened to the Policy review ??
I believe a social media policy was discussed at prior BOE meetings but I don't know if the policy committee ever focused on it. Best to check with the BOE policy committee members.
One could ask whether a policy that prevented board members from expressing their opinions on topics of the day and politics in general would be too strict—personally I think it would be—but whether a policy that freely allows board members to attack parents and members of the community as bigots is too lenient. Sounds as though they need to discuss it some more.
He also hates Christians, particularly those of white European ancestry, police officers, conservatives, and people who are unvaccinated against Covid, and more or less anyone who isn’t in his tiny little echo chamber. He’s a scumbag.
No school board members should talk to anyone so disrespectfully. I am sick of this negativity. He has freedom of speech but if he insists on being nothing but rude and condescending to those who disagree him, he doesn’t belong on the board.
I left facebook 4 years ago and looks like not much has changed with Mr. Holier-Than-Thou.
I’m glad sane democrats still exist in our little village and are becoming aware this is what lost them the 2024 election. Unfortunately… still a minority in Croton! Mr. Holier-Than-Thou and Mrs. Ministry-of-Truth will continue influencing how our school taxes are spent and what idiocy du jour our kids will be exposed to in school.
As much as I disagree with the man, I'm tired of all the censorship and restrictions we 've been confronted with these past 4+ years with regards to First Amendment Freedom of Speech. As long as Josh isn't speaking on behalf of or representing himself as a BOE member, I say, let him make his Trump derangement remarks.

Thanks for your question. I guess it will now probably be a topic of discussion again, district-wide.
Hi there. I don't think it ever went anywhere.

I accidentally hit the approve button! So please take that into consideration - so sorry....
No worries, after a week we should have enough votes that the trend will be clear, if there is one.
