Yes many folks feel that way indeed. I appreciate that Balter followed up on this so consistently. Mainstream media still has nothing about the outcome that I have found so far.

As I write at 1:11 pm today no other media has reported on it. That’s remarkable given the coverage the lawsuit has received since it was first filed at the beginning of the month, the fact that in a very close election Frascone could take votes away from Jones that he might need to win, and the nationwide understanding that Jones winning the district is crucial to any hopes Dems might have of retaking the House. My personal opinion, from the left end of the spectrum, is that Jones has no one to blame but himself for this situation.

You want to know the truth? Republicans in Rockland County got about 200 Ultra-Orthodox voters to switch to the Working Families Party close to the deadline for registering, Frascone was put on the primary ballot, and he won by 90 points. The whole thing was engineered. It may be legal but it still stinks, IMHO.

Why wasn’t Jones on the WFP ticket?

This is all explained in my stories. He was primaried by Frascone and lost. But the WFP is endorsing him anyway and considers him their candidate.

What a scam. Unbelievable you can put a fake candidate on the ballot in New York. Sounds like something the radical GOP would do down South.
