At this evening's BoT work session, Westchester Power will urge renewal of the Community Choice Aggregation Program. They apparently want a quick answer. Should we take more time to discuss?
The first item on the agenda at this evening’s Board of Trustees work session is a presentation by Nick Tedrow, Deputy Program Director of Westchester Power. Some readers will have heard of Westchester Power, and some will not have. Here is what they say about themselves, taken from their Website:
“Westchester Power (Community Choice Aggregation, CCA) is a community-based bulk energy purchasing program designed to control costs and increase the use of renewable energy in Westchester County. Westchester Power is a program initiated and implemented by Sustainable Westchester Inc, on behalf of member municipalities that have chosen to participate in the program.”
