School workers and their supporters made another show of force, while the Board discussed their contract negotiations in an hour long executive session. No mention of the lawsuit against the district.
Shortly after the Croton-Harmon Board of Education and those attending its June 20 meeting faced the American flag and pledged “liberty and justice for all,” Board members went into executive session to discuss one of the most controversial equity issues facing the district: The salaries and working conditions of its low-paid school workers, who include teacher’s aides and lunch room workers.
