The Croton Chronicle takes a holiday (really this time...)

Our hard working staff will be on vacation until Monday January 6. Happy 2025 to all.

We said we were going to take a holiday at Thanksgiving and then we didn’t. Too much local news. But this time we mean it.

Thanks to the entire Croton community for supporting The Croton Chronicle in so many different ways. We are now 14 months old and 1000 subscribers strong, and still growing every day.

Look for lots of new features in the New Year, including a new focus on more in-depth stories about issues that affect everyone in the village. We will continue to report locally, but think globally, to slightly modify a well known phrase. And we will beef up the number of Guest Editorials and villager profiles to help make this publication a real community voice from which no one is excluded.

More good news: This is the last time this year we will ask you to subscribe if you have not already done so, or upgrade to a paid sub if you have not already done that. And you can still give a gift subscription to a friend or neighbor on your late gift list. Below are all the buttons you will need.
