The crackdown on disruptive late night noise continues: Multiple citations issued.

Many Croton residents reported that the noise started up again around 12:45 AM this morning. The Rockland County Sheriffs Office and other law enforcement saved the day (or rather, the night.)

Late this morning Village Manager Bryan Healy issued the following statement:

As you may know, the music started playing again last night around 12:45 a.m. The police department initiated contact with the Rockland County agencies who began canvassing the area around Haverstraw Beach State Park. About an hour later, the Rockland County Sheriff’s Office located several vehicles off Route 9W with the large speakers. A total of 11 individuals were involved. The sheriff’s office issued multiple traffic tickets to the vehicle operators, the state park police issued summonses for being on property closed to the public and Clarkstown police charged the individuals with disorderly conduct.
