Update June 26: Authorities have now released two videos of the alleged encounter between U.S. Attorney John Sarcone and Salvadoran national Saul Morales-Garcia. A description of the videos by Albany’s News Channel 13, which posted the videos on its Web page, indicates that the two men never got closer than 25 feet apart. This may explain why the charges against Morales-Garcia were reduced from attempted murder to menacing.
