Guest Editorial: Croton Lions Club awards scholarships to three Croton-Harmon High School graduates.
The Lions Club has been awarding scholarships to CHHS graduating students from the time it was founded, in 1939. The ceremony was held at the Croton Yacht Club.

The Croton Lions Club, on Tuesday, June 17th, had its annual awards dinner, at the Croton Yacht Club, for the three scholarship recipients, Jack Cooney, Alana Walsh and Tristan Moore. Each of them was accompanied by their parents and friends.
The Lions Club has been awarding scholarships to CHS graduating students from the time the Lions Club was founded, in 1939.
To this day, it is estimated that the Croton Lions Club has donated more than $500,000 to deserving students that are involved in community service.
The event, at the Yacht Club was a huge success, with delicious food, provided by Peter Tsagarakis, from the Croton Diner, who is also a long standing Lions member.
Everyone seemed to have a good time, hosted by the Croton Yacht Club, and a great setting by the great Hudson River.
