The new owners plan to submit their proposed project to the village early in the New Year. They have been meeting with local neighbors to explain their concept.
The Chronicle has learned that two developers who now own the property at 425 South Riverside Avenue plan to build an apartment complex at the site. As their plans currently stand, the project would include 49 units and three stories, and feature 84 underground parking spaces. About 10% of the units are projected to be “affordable” in some form.
