Caddies win (most) of the latest round in their lawsuit against Hudson National Golf Club for alleged labor law violations.
A federal judge declined to dismiss the case as requested by the club, although he did bar some claims under federal law due to a lapse in the statue of limitations.
Since last January, the Chronicle has been following two lawsuits brought by former caddies against the Hudson National Golf Club, one in federal and one in state court. The federal case, which involves claims of labor law violations, has now largely survived a motion to dismiss brought by the club last September, after a couple of rounds of legal argument and briefing.
